Welcome to the Excitonics Lab!

We are an experimental physics research group at the University of Regensburg funded by the Emmy Noether initiative of the German Science Foundation.

Our research is focused on studying fundamental interactions of electronic and excitonic many-body states in matter for basic science and technological applications. We are interested in understanding and controlling exciton particles in nanostructures using a variety of spectroscopic techniques and material designs.

Our group gratefully acknowledges financial support by the DFG and the group of Rupert Huber for providing laboratory space as well as for technical and administrative assistance.

If you are interested in our research, please contact alexey.chernikov@ur.de or visit us at the Physics Department on campus, office PHY 7.3.16
