Array of (Ga,Mn)As-discs
Array of (Ga,Mn)As-discs, fabricated with e-beam lithography.
The picture shows an optical image of the array.
The orange colour is due to interference effects as the size of the individual
discs is close to the ligth wavelength
(Size of the image: 1.6 mm * 1.2 mm. Size and spacing of the individual discs: 1
µm. Number of discs: more than 3 Million.).
