Staggered Top-Higgs models and Higgs mass bounds
Presenter: Kieran Holland — University of the Pacific

In the first of two related talks for our Higgs collaboration, I will outline how the expected triviality of the Top-Higgs sector leads to a lower bound for the Higgs mass as a function of the cut-off of the theory. I will describe the calculation of this bound using staggered fermion simulations, and properties of this theory in the large Nf limit. I will also discuss the connection of this bound to the supposed instability of the Electroweak vacuum for sufficiently small Higgs mass.
