Collective response of Dirac and Laplace eigenvalues to changing boundary conditions

We compute complete spectra of Dirac and Laplace operators on the lattice for quenched SU(3) gauge configurations using different boundary conditions. Weighted sums of these eigenvalues are known to be related to the Polyakov loop. Since the Polyakov loop acquires a non-vanishing expectation value at the QCD phase transition, the collective behavior of the eigenvalues must change there. We analyze this behavior of the eigenvalues and study their response to changing boundary conditions in the IR and UV domains.
